Flower Pot Card with Paper roses

I saw this on the cricut message board today (thanks Sheila Jones!). I had never thought to put the paper roses I love to make along with the flower pot card that I also like to make!

This was pretty much all done with the cricut:

Flowers: Made the scallops needed with George (welding circles)

Flower Pot and other items: Walk in my Garden

Leaves: Accent Essentials
And to give credit where credit is due, the beautiful roses and a tutorial can be found on Susan BlueRobots web site: www.susanbluerobot.blogspot.com/2008/09/how-to-make-paper-roses.html
The get well soon was done with my new design runner. What a cool tool!

Hope you like...

Something new (finally)!

3 day weekends. Aren't they just great? Not only do we get to celebrate something great like giving honor to our folks in the Armed Services, but it's finally time to sleep really late and have the time to do some crafts.

Got the computer back yesterday; thankfully our local Data Doctors got it working again and improved it's performance.

This card is a copy of a beautiful card by Donna Mundinger. She was gracious enough to share her cricut cut file. The entry with info regarding this card is here: www.donnamundinger-popsicletoes.blogspot.com/2009/05/custom-crops-design-team-1st-post-free.html. Donna's creations are beautiful because she pop-dots everything for a 3d look. I've been wanting to scraplift her items for a long time and having the cut file finally made me do it.

Thanks a bunch - Flowersoft!

I got a present in the mail today (to me, from me)...I got the last box of Floral Bouquet flower selection from Cutter Creek. 7 colors of Flowersoft - all mixed...absolutely beautiful. What cool stuff. So of course had to give it a try tonight. I have no idea which two colors I used...I'll have to figure it out! My husband (who also scrapbooks) was very impressed with how it looks and wanted to know how I did those little flowers. Looks better in real life, but hopefully you get the gist.

Used the cuttlebug on the watering can, all cuts done using my cricut and Walk in my garden. The can was done with silver and gold metalic papers.
